Not Myself Today Information Session  -  HP203

Mental health is everyone's business. Let's take care of it.

Not Myself Today is a campaign focusing on helping workplaces achieve better understanding of mental health and reduce stigma.

Not Myself Today is based on a shared insight - the feeling of not being oneself - that connects people to the topic of mental health and helps build empathy for those who may be facing challenges.

As part of Thrive week 2017, the Not Myself Today campaign will be implemented within numerous departments for the third year.

UBC departments can easily implement the campaign during Thrive week (Oct 30 - Nov 3) using tools and resources to educate their staff and faculty.

By attending this information session, you will:

  • Learn about the Not Myself Today campaign and how departments can get involved;

  • Discover campaign support tools and resources available for departments interested in becoming a partner;

  • Learn about mental health;

  • Become involved in reducing stigma and fostering safe, open and supportive work environment; and

  • Have an opportunity to ask questions.

    Please note: This campaign is being offered as part of Thrive week from October 30 - November 3, 2017.

    Thrive is a mindset and a week-long series of events focused on building positive mental health for everyone at UBC. Learn more about Thrive at www.thrive.ubc.ca.
