Biography - Melanie Buffel

Melanie has spent the last 20 years leading community based programs to help people gain better control of their money and their lives. She has a BA in Psychology, a post-grad certificate in Community Economic Development and is completing her Masters of Business Administration. Her experience includes money coaching, entrepreneurship, small business financing and nonprofit management.

She honed her speaking skills and managed to keep her sense of humour intact while facilitating hundreds of workshops and courses in the Money Skills program at Family Services of Greater Vancouver and as a Trainer at the Canadian Centre for Financial Literacy.

Melanie is an engaging presenter with a mission to help you transform your relationship with money and build your skills and confidence to make good money decisions. In 2008, Melanie received a ┬┐Passion for Financial Literacy Award┬┐ from Social and Enterprise Development Innovations, a national leader in the provision of financial education.
