Travelling Health Fair: Functional Movement Screen - HP038

This appointment will be 20 minutes long.

Often faulty movement patterns go undetected until an injury results. Using the Functional Movement Screen the Physiotherapist will identify those faulty patterns and provide you with preliminary advice on how to correct them.

Research has shown that people who score below 14 on the FMS are more than 11 times more likely to sustain an injury. Participants will receive their FMS score as well as specific exercise and physiotherapy recommendations.

Loose, flexible clothing and stable shoes are helpful but not essential to complete the screen. The tests likely won't make you sweaty but involve moving your arms and legs in a number of directions.
