Hatha Yoga - HP233

A great all-levels class for those who wish to move their bodies and relax deeply. Hatha yoga is slower paced than power yoga, however it still focuses on strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. This class incorporates sun salutations and feel-good stretches with an emphasis on calming the body and mind.

Basic yoga postures are combined with regulated breath and performed in a systematic and accessible manner. This class helps reduce stress, increase energy, stretch, strengthen muscles and encourages you to breathe more freely and fully.

All UBC staff and faculty are welcome to register and attend this free class. There will be some mats available, however participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.
