OPT - Financial Officer Role - FTOPTF

The Online Payment Tool (OPT) enables UBC employees to submit and process certain expenses through an electronic routing and approval process.

This training course is offered to users that hold the Financial Officer role in OPT and would like to get a quick overview of roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures and other considerations when approving eForms.

This course is offered in-class. It requires a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 participants.

In the event of insufficient number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel the course.

Available to:

  • OPT users who hold the Financial Officer role in OPT.

Pre-requisite:

Users who would like to attend this course should either be familiar with the submission process of all OPT eForms such as reimbursements, VISA reconciliations, vendor payments, or attend the following sessions first:

  • OPT - Employee Reimbursements
  • OPT - UBC VISA Card Reconciliations
  • OPT - Third Party Vendors & Delegates
