About this workshop

More and more, in today's complex organizations, leaders are being asked to give feedback for improvement and positive feedback to individuals and teams, as part of their daily leadership practice.

Research has shown that both types of feedback when effectively given, enhance the performance and culture of all types of teams. Therefore, being able to give and receive feedback effectively is a leadership advantage.

Come to this practical, interactive and fun 3-hour workshop where we will explore skills and strategies to enhance this important leadership talent.

  • Demonstrate the 5 skills of giving feedback for improvement constructively;
  • Describe how to effectively give feedback to direct reports, peers and senior leaders;
  • Outline how positive feedback contributes to an appreciative team culture;

  • Commit to an action plan to create a feedback rich culture in your team

About the facilitator

Julie Hamilton is an organizational development consultant and facilitator with twenty years international experience in leadership development, strategic planning and change management. She has worked for, and consulted with organizations undergoing major change in the private and public sectors in Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Julie's company partners with clients to provide performance improvement services in the not for profit, healthcare, education, utility, financial services and government sectors. She is passionate about assisting people and organizations to achieve standards of excellence, while maintaining their values (and sense of humour!), in a world of change. She has a Masters of Science in Performance Management and Training (Leicester University, England), a Bachelor of Laws Hons.
